Dr. Joshua Eldridge: 00:02 Hello and welcome back to a Sports Performance Academy video. My name is Dr. Joshua Eldridge and I am excited that you're here. And first of all, I just want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy holidays. I hope that your family is getting together and spending time together and really enjoying each other throughout this holiday because that's what this is all about, is being with our family and enjoying this season. So welcome to this video. We're talking today about planning and making sure we're ready to go once this holiday season is over. And I don't know if you know this or not, but one blink and Christmas enough new year's is going to be over and we're going to be back in to the pattern of sports and school and all of that. And you gotta be ready for that. And you've got to make sure that your plan is in place.

Dr. Joshua Eldridge: 00:58 Now you might be wondering, why in the world do we have to plan? Well, we don't plan for perfection. We plan for priority. So you gotta make sure that you have your plan in place because you want to make nutrition a priority this year. And one of the reasons why is we gotta have big ambitions about what we're going to do as a family. And 2020 2020 can be your biggest year ever for your family. You can make amazing changes. You can make sure that your family is doing the right things with nutrition and health, but you gotta have that ambition to get there. Last week we talked about goals and I hope that something that you have already started planning, getting your goals into place and knowing what you and your family can do this year. And once you see that big picture, you got to know that nutrition is a big part of all of your goals that are going to happen in 2020 it's so important because that's what's going to give you energy.

Dr. Joshua Eldridge: 02:00 That's what's gonna give you mental focus. That's what's going to make sure your athletes aren't experiencing injuries that maybe they've had in the past. We take that great nutrition, we put it with amazing rest and recovery, and you've got a great plan to succeed. You can't wait though. This year is going to be over and we're going to be right back into it. So I want to make sure that you have your plan in place today. That you haven't waited, that you're just ready to go for next year and January is smooth because you've put that nutrition plan in place.
